60-Second Reality Check

Help Us Build Something You Actually Need

Be 100% brutally honest. We want genuine college ground reality — what works, what doesn't, and what students truly care about.

In a typical batch of 100 engineering/CS students, what percentage can realistically build a complete final-year project on their own using today’s AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) without any human help?

Less than 10% (Most get stuck on environment setup, debugging, hardware & architecture)
10% – 25% (Only the top few self-driven coders)
25% – 50% (A good chunk can pull it off)
More than 50% (Most students can easily build it with AI today)

Speaking specifically about Tier-2 and Tier-3 engineering colleges, how familiar are students with modern AI coding tools to build projects from scratch?

Very low awareness: Most only use basic ChatGPT for theory/assignments, not for building full codebases or hardware.
Moderate: They know the tools exist, but struggle to connect databases, APIs, Docker, and frontend together.
High: Most students in Tier-2/3 colleges are already proficient with AI coding tools.
College doesn't care about projects, they just give marks anyhow.
3

Do you believe students will pay for final-year Software or ready-to-use IoT hardware projects delivered to their doorstep?

Yes, definitely: Stressed about deadlines, viva, and placements and happily pay for working builds.
Only for IoT Hardware: Software they copy/pirate, but physical sensors/boards are too painful to assemble.
Only for Interview Prep: They have code, but have zero confidence to explain it in viva/interviews.
No, they won't pay: Students prefer free YouTube tutorials, piracy, or taking senior projects.
4

How viable is our core "Interview-Ready" concept (giving a 1-Hour screen-by-screen project course + interview Q&As instead of months of theory)?

Strong concept: Most students' biggest fear is getting exposed in the viva/technical interview round.
Good, but secondary: Students care 90% about just getting code/hardware to submit; interview prep is just a bonus.
Not sure: Depends entirely on how good and concise the explanation videos actually are.
Won't work: Students won't bother watching a 1-hour video either.
5

How likely are students in your circle to actually buy pre-assembled IoT Hardware Kits delivered home?

Very Likely (High demand): Sourcing Arduino/ESP32, soldering, and sensor debugging is a major nightmare.
Likely: If the price is reasonable and hardware is guaranteed to work on demo day.
Not Sure / 50-50: Depends on college guide approval and budget.
100% Won't Buy: They will just copy from seniors or local project centers.
6

When you opened our website (campusprojects.tech), how clear was it what the platform actually offers?

Crystal Clear: Immediately understood (Interview-ready projects, video courses, and custom builds).
Somewhat Clear: Took some scrolling to realize it's not just another regular code repository.
Confusing: Hard to figure out what is included with a purchase or what the business does.
Too much text / Cluttered: Needs simpler, punchier presentation.
7

How easy was it to navigate, find projects, and read the project details?

8

Would you recommend Campus Projects to a classmate or junior looking for their project?

Yes, definitely: Will share in my college/class WhatsApp groups.
Maybe: Only if they are struggling or asked me specifically.
Only for the Refer & Earn rewards: If there's an incentive for me.
No: Would not recommend at this stage.
